Every year, Bravo would procure gifts from stars for their readers to win. Sometimes these were spectacular, sometimes the stars probably knew little about it. Headliners in Bravo of 6 December 1978:
• The black lycra outfit Livvy wore in the “Tell Me About It , Stud” scene in Grease (seriously? That must be worth hundreds of thousands now)! Only for girls size 36! Fuck it, I’m a girl size 36.
• Joan Jett and Sandy West of The Runaways give away a stage costume each.
• The Bay City Rollers give away trousers and jackets, signed. (How’s Mutti going to get that out?)
• Signed electric guitar from Status Quo and signed acoustic guitar from Smokie.
• Signed skateboard from Leif Garrett.
